(Razorback Records)
-Review by Jharrod
Shortly after their debut on Razorback Records, Machetazo unleash yet another great full length. If you have heard the first one and are not into the goregrind thing, then give "Tronos de Huesos" a chance. It seems that Machetazo are allready coming into their own. This two piece from Spain packs a mean punch to the groin. I have not heard anything like this in a long time. Their obvious influences seem to range from Assuck and Terrorizer to Impetigo and Autopsy. This might seem scary (and it is.), but don't turn your back and flee just yet. What Machetazo has done is combine classic grindcore with the classic goregrind/gore metal bands, thus creating something that isn't overly gore, but not overly grindcore. It seems to lay somewhere in between, but in a good way. I can't think of another band that has pulled this off so well. Ladies and gentleman, welcome "Horror-Grind" to the scene. I am sure that this is not the last we are going to hear from these guys.
