Ghetto DIY. Make a stencil(or if you're not artistically inclined get a friend that is to draw them for you) and get some fabric paint. Then go to town.

You can buy silkscreens with the wooden frames of various sizes. You can even just by the silk and make your own frame, or use an old picture frame, but make sure you stretch it good (soak it in water first), and staple to the frame. Get the chemical adhesives, print out an image through a computer, a drawing or whatnot, paint the areas you don't want to show, let it dry overnight. Then use fabric paint or vinyl inks and apply. Then you can use emulsions to clean the silk so it's ready to go for another design.

Douchebag's idea works just as good and way cheaper. In addition to it, you can print out an image, lay it over with frisket film or clear plastic stencil film (they sell sheets in packs), use an exacto knife or a stencil burner to cut the areas for the ink. The only problem though is that you won't be able to get certain shapes and objects to be printed like borders, O's and 0's, intricate and intersecting lines, etc., which creates a problem and would probably require layering.
