i dont listen to much hardcore.but i like hatebreed a bit, born from pain(is that hardcore? xD) and cwill, her nightmare, moshpit(Wink) and some other little hardcorethings.

cwill is a hardcore band with violin, from switzerland.i have seen them live, they are nice Big Grin

Discharge, Anti Cimex, Rudimentary Peni, Charged GBH, Black Flag, Heresy, so on and so forth.

Throwdown and Hatebreed are more metalcore than anything.

Bwhaha! Exactly, tough-guy/meat-head/mall-metal shit. I've seen Hatebreed live before, they opened for some other band. Everyone in the pit were huge football players, with wife beaters on, blue jeans, nikes or reeboks, and freshly cut hair. Looked like a bunch of clones to me. Anyways, yeah, there were a few serious fistfights that broke out, and they got kicked out. Bands like these and their fans just seem like another extension of jock rock. It's not punk.
