Dementor - "the art of blasphemy" cd

(qabalah productions)

aaaaargggh! total ultra-blasting extreme blasphemic death metal, showing absolutely no mercy whatsoever! the drumming on this is absolutely incredible, with some of the fastest blastbeats I've ever heard! not only this, but also some of the fastest double bass, even faster than the legendary morbid angel in parts! strangely there are only a few parts on the record where this uncanny kick pedal ability is put to use (for instance, the first song), but never mind, maybe on future releases there will be more of this?! oh, and the rest of the band totally slays too! maybe not so original, they play more of an evil old school influenced style of death metal, in keeping with their anti-Christian stance, but still with plenty of fast playing and whatnot. there's some mad soloing too, some of it is more tuneful, some is the crazed death metal sonic attack we all know and love/hate. they use plenty of mid-tempo riffs too, indeed a few songs are more based around these kind of speeds rather than all-out blast attack. personally I prefer the tracks which make more use of ultra fast blastbeats, just cos they are so intense due to the aforementioned abnormal blasting speeds, and the aggressive production which really adds to the effect. if you consider yourself a fan of extreme death metal, you would be foolish to let this excessively aggressive release pass you by.
