RE: Death Metal
No, of course I don't. But I pay no attention whatsoever to lyrics and most of the stuff I listen to has no written lyrics.
I have a few 7" splits with Machetzo from Spain? Their material has no lyrics, just random grunts, growls and screaming.
MACHETAZO ARE AWESOME. I have a lot of their stuff, but none of their splits. Which 7" splits do you have?

RE: Death Metal
I have their first 2 demo tapes, Carne de cementerio, Trono de Huesos and Sinfonias del Terror Ciego.
I think they re-released all of their 7" material on a CD compilation recently, might have to check that out.

I'm a huge thrash and death metal fan. I'm not into a whole lot of Grindcore bands anymore, because most of them suck.

I've been digging the new Testament and the last Nihilist album. Muthafuckin' thrash!
Nihilist? you know that's Entombed's old name, right?
and I dig Machetazo. I have 7" of theirs. wish I had more.

RE: Death Metal
I think he meant the US thrash band Nihilist, as opposed to what I presume would be the Swedish death metal band Nihilist.

Yeah, the US thrash band Nihilist.
I dig old Entombed, but stopped listening to them after the release of Wolverine Blues.

i thought it was gay how the record company was all like "wolverine, yeah, marvel comics" when the song was actually based on something totally different

RE: Death Metal
I think it's irrelevant. Anyone who bothers to write lyrics deserves to have them misinterpreted.

Yeah, that's when their music started getting all watered down, and their edge got blunted. I heard a few tracks off that album, though it was complete a weaksauce cop out, so I never bothered picking it up or any other Entombed albums afterwards.
I still listen to some and dig Dismember though, they never strayed from their roots and original sound. Fucking dirge!
